How long does it take to receive my order? Orders placed online are normally processed and shipped within 1 or 2 days. There are a few products that may have a lead time. For time sensitive orders or to confirm delivery times please call our support team. Once an order has shipped the estimated transit times are as follows: East coast 2 to 4 days and West coast 5 to 6 business days. Your tracking # will be emailed to you after your order has shipped.

How is delivery scheduled? Most flooring orders will be shipped freight. The carrier will call at least one day before delivery to schedule an appointment.

How will my order be offloaded at time of delivery? The majority of deliveries will include a liftgate so the driver can lower the flooring to the ground. An exception to this would be flooring that is longer than 8’ (see product description) and there for too long to fit on a liftgate. Also, orders of 15 boxes/bundles or less will not include a liftgate considering they can be hand offloaded easily. For these types of orders we recommend arranging to have help if needed at the time of delivery to hand offload from the truck.

What if part of my order is missing or damaged? All orders are double checked for accuracy and packaged well to avoid damage. In the rare event of any missing items or damage a note must be made on the driver’s delivery receipt notating the issue. Please let us know of any issues so we can take care of it.

Description

This 5" Red Oak #2 Common grade will have plenty of knots and character along with all of the natural color and grain variations commonly seen in this species. Some natural defects are admitted along with possible machine defects. Ordering a higher percentage than normal may be required depending on customers intended use or character tolerance. For customers desiring longer boards or higher board length average please see higher grades. Our 3/4" thick unfinished solid wood flooring is milled by NWFA standards.

Shorts - This flooring is considered Shorts and will only contain lengths predominately 12" to 18" long with the occasional length up to 60". This flooring is perfect for situations that require quality wood at an economical price.

Micro Beveled - this floor is manufactured with a micro beveled edge, allowing for less sanding requirements and quicker prep time.

Pre-Filled - this floor has been pre-filled for less onsite steps and a quicker finish time.
